Please note that if you are not into letterpress cards then you can use the same card design to create hot foiled card and vice versa. 

We are so excited to announce our Create & Connect virtual hot foiling/letterpress event! Join us June 29th for a 1-day event full of foiling and letterpress fun with these amazing instructors: Carissa Wiley, Emily Midgett, Heather Hoffman and Lea Lawson.

Get the luxury of creating beautiful, elegant and timeless Pinkfresh Studio hot foiled/letterpress cards from the comfort of your own home with these amazingly talented designers!

Registering for our Create & Connect hot foil virtual event will give you access to 4 LIVE classes during the event dates, using brand new Pinkfresh Studio products that have never been seen nor sold before! Throughout each class you will explore and learn foiling techniques, while gaining tips & tricks for using your event products. We are also including a pre-recorded bonus class using solid hot foil plate. Please note that the bonus class is not a live class.
Each kit is valued at $296/- worth of retail products. This value includes product value only. Our classes/educational content is at no cost to you. 

Each class will be approximately 90 minutes long, and you will create 2 cards with each instructor. We will provide a printed booklet for each class with instructions for each card created in case you want to complete the class projects at your own pace.

Each instructor will also provide 2 bonus projects and instructions for Make & Take cards that you will create on your own. These will give you more ideas for stretching your supplies and getting continued use from all the beautiful products in your event kit! Out of two make and take projects, one will have a short video and one will have instructions only.

Class 1: Elegant stationery

You will create 2 cards in this class using our printed floral papers and learn to hot foil on prints to create unique and elegant stationery.

  •       (1) Pack of printed floral papers (6 papers per pack and each paper is A2 sized)
  •       (1) Sketched botanicals press plate
  •       (1) Coordinating die for Sketched botanicals press plate

Class 2: Multi color letterpress

You will create 2 cards in this class using our multi step press plate design. You will learn to create stunning letterpress cards using 2-3 colors.

  •       (1) Splendid florals press plate (multi color press plate design. Set includes 3 press plates/pack)
  •       (1) Coordinating die for splendid florals press plate
  •       (1) Coordinating stencil set for splendid florals press plate

Class 3: Framed floral arch

You will create 1 card using hot foiling technique and 1 card using letterpress technique but with gradient in this class. 

  •       (1) Framed floral arch press plate (multi color press plate design. Set includes 3 press plates/pack)
  •       (1) Coordinating die for framed floral arch press plate
  •       (1) Coordinating stencil set for framed floral arch press plate

Class 4: Fresh blooms (hHoneysuckle)

You will create 1 card using hot foiling technique and 1 card using negative letterpress design in this class.

  •       (1) Honeysuckle press plate set
  •       (1) Honeysuckle cover press plate set
  •       (1) Coordinating die for honeysuckle press plate
  •       (1) Coordinating stencil set for honeysuckle press plate

You will need to have your own general supplies to finish the class. Items are listed below.
  • White cardstock (We recommend Hammermill 100LB premium cover cardstock)
  • Hot Foil System (we will primarily feature the Glimmer hot foil system, but you can use what works with your diecutting machine.)
  • Cotton cardstock for letterpress cards
  • Betterpress system
  • Hot foil rolls (variety of colors - basic metallics will work for all classes.)
  • Dye inks (we will share the list of inks used by our instructors)
  • Vellum sheets

  • Embossing powder (gold or any other color of your choice)

Create & connect classes will take place in CST time zones between 9:00AM - 6:00PM using private YouTube links that only registered attendees will be given access to. We will send an invite to join our event Facebook group in mid May. All of the class videos will be available for later viewing on YouTube.

While all live elements will be via exclusive YouTube links, you will be able to share your projects with us and connect with all of the instructors and fellow students via the private Facebook group! We hope this event will make lasting connections and friendships between paper crafters from all over the world. We cannot wait to create and connect with you!
